Martinez, GA- Sandhurst Apartment Management (“SAM”) has announced the purchase of Shenandoah Ridge Apartments, a 272-unit multifamily garden style apartment complex built in 1982 located in a popular submarket of Augusta, GA. The acquisition closed in June 2016.
Shenandoah Ridge is located in the northwestern suburb of Martinez (Columbia County), one of Augusta’s most desirable areas. The property is less than ¼ mile from both Blue Ridge Elementary School and Lakeside High School (the best public schools in the Augusta metro area). Shenandoah Ridge is also less than one mile from the headquarters and manufacturing facility of Club Car, a leading producer of golf and utility vehicles, which provides over 1,000 quality jobs to the nearby community. Chick-Fil-A, Target, Kohl’s, Starbucks, and Panera Bread are all located less than one mile from the property at the Mullens Crossing shopping center. Shenandoah Ridge’s location will also benefit greatly when the Riverwatch Parkway extension is completed, scheduled in Mid-2017. Post extension, the property will be a very short drive to Whole Foods, Publix, Kroger, Fresh Market and the famed Augusta National Golf Club.
