Southaven, MS- Sandhurst Apartment Management (“SAM”) has announced the recapitalization of Civic Center West Apartments, a 392-unit multifamily apartment complex built in 2002 located in Southaven, MS. SAM has owned and operated this asset since 2006. The recap closed in March 2016.
Civic Center West Apartments is positioned in Southaven, MS, a popular submarket of Memphis. The property is one of the newest apartment communities in Southaven and is located in the Desoto Central School District. The property offers a variety of one, two- and three-bedroom apartments, which appeal to families looking to live in the popular Desoto school district. The asset has remained stable during SAM’s 10 years of ownership, as population and rent growth continue to increase in this Memphis suburb. SAM also has owned Civic Center East (Phase II of the development) since 2007 and plans to recapitalize this asset in late 2016.
